Volleyball Recap: Orange Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Orange Park had taken Bishop Snyder down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Raiders fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Orange Park wouldn't go down easily and took Bishop Snyder into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-15, 25-17, 22-25, 15-9.

Braylee Absher paced Orange Park's offense, picking up ten kills. Absher got some help from Miley Lloyd and her 17 assists.

Eleny Pham had an outrageously good game for Bishop Snyder as she had 28 digs and one assist. Those 28 digs gave Pham a new career-high.

Orange Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bishop Snyder, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Orange Park is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Tocoi Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop Snyder, they will host University Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
