Baseball Recap: Frostproof Sets Scoring Season-High Against Tenoroc

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frostproof). They put the hurt on the Tenoroc Titans with a sharp 18-0 win on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Frostproof got a massive performance out of Bradley Roberts, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Roberts a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ricky Wilson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Frostproof always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Frostproof's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Tenoroc, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Frostproof does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tenoroc, they will face off against Davenport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
