After a string of ten wins, Centennial's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bishop Watterson Eagles, falling 23-4. The game marked the Stars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Centennial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Glover, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Glover is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Bishop Watterson, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Watterson, they will face off against Thomas Worthington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
