Basketball Recap: Mounds Park Academy Takes a Loss

Mounds Park Academy lost against Minnehaha Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mounds Park Academy Panthers were dealt an 85-33 defeat at the hands of the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mounds Park Academy is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. As for Minnehaha Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Mounds Park Academy will square off against Breck at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Breck's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Minnehaha Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-57 win against Mahtomedi on the 11th.
