Soccer Recap: Serra Comes Up Short

Serra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Monica Mariners, falling 7-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in January.

Serra's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Monica, they pushed their record up to 6-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Serra wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Mary Star of the Sea on the 27th. As for St. Monica, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary on the 29th.
