Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Silver Valley). Their defense stepped up to hand the PAL Academy Bulls a 14-0 shutout on Wednesday. Nathan Gonzalez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Silver Valley, bringing their record for this year to 9-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for PAL Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
