League recap: Kell tops Allatoona to extend winning streak

AAAAA Region 7B recap November 19, 2013

Adding to the longest winning streak in AAAAA Region 7B this week, Kell beat Allatoona 31-17. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Longhorns.

Kell led the league in scoring this week after putting up 31 points on the Buccaneers. Cameron Rosendahl threw for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns during the win.

Derek Cook's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jay Moxey chipped in 108 yards. Taylor Henkle helped Kell's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 36 yards.

Julian Burris was the best receiver in the league this week as the Longhorns beat Allatoona. Burris racked up 4 receptions for 64 yards. Henkle helped Kell's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 36 yards.

Kell's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Longhorns feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matthew McGuigan has thrown for 1,178 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Burris has 38 catches for 734 yards.

Kell led AAAAA Region 7B in points allowed with 17.
