Softball Recap: Santa Ana Plays to a Tie

Santa Ana couldn't beat Big Bear on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. Neither the Saints nor the Bears could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for an 8-8 tie. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Saints have been dealt a tie since back in February.

Santa Ana's draw makes their record 14-3-2 this season. As for Big Bear, they moved theirs to 8-7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Ana will face off against Westminster at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Big Bear, they will challenge Riverside Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Silver Knights have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
