Softball Game Preview: Dublin Lions vs. Comanche Indians

Dublin hasn't had much luck against Comanche recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Dublin has given up an average of 13.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dublin is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Friday. They came up short against Peaster, falling 20-2.

Dublin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haden Keilers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, Comanche waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 12-8.

Comanche's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.

Dublin might still be hurting after the 17-2 defeat they got from Comanche when the teams last played back in March. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
