New Ulm put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Waseca Bluejays a 10-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

New Ulm's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average this season. As for Waseca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.

Looking ahead, New Ulm will square off against St. Peter at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 0.9, the Saints 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
