Basketball Recap: Gordon Wins Going Away Against La Grange

Gordon saw some tournament action on Saturday. Everything went their way against the La Grange Leopards as the Gordon Longhorns made off with a 61-36 win. That 25 point margin sets a new team best for the Longhorns this season.

Several Leopards players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Conner Brooks, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Mason Kleiber, who scored five points.

Gordon's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for La Grange, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.

Gordon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-53 loss against Lipan on the 31st. La Grange has also already played their next game, a 59-38 defeat against Belton on the 3rd.
