Soccer Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian Academy managed to keep up with Terra Ceia Christian until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Patriots lost 6-1 to the Knights. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Heritage Christian Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Heritage Christian Academy was without their leading scorer, David Hudson, in Friday's game. With Hudson sidelined, Titus Greene got his first action of the season. Greene made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Heritage Christian Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Terra Ceia Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Heritage Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Unity Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Terra Ceia Christian, they will be playing at home against Pungo Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
