Basketball Recap: Greenville's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Greenville hadn't done well against Gentry recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Greenville Hornets walked away with a 60-47 win over the Gentry Rams. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 54-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Greenville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but A'Tavius McChristion led the charge by going 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five boards. That's the most points McChristion has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Peoples, who posted eight points in addition to 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Greenville's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11. As for Gentry, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

As of now, neither Greenville nor Gentry have any future games scheduled.
