Recap: West Warwick Wizards vs. Woonsocket Villa Novans
The West Warwick Wizards won the last time they faced the Woonsocket Villa Novans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. West Warwick simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Woonsocket 55-14 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory West Warwick has managed all season.
West Warwick got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lex Foley out in front who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Truss, who scored six points.
West Warwick's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Woonsocket, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Warwick's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chariho at 6:45 p.m. on January 11th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Chariho is ranked ninth, while West Warwick is ranked 12th). As for Woonsocket, they will head out on the road to face off against Prout at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
