St. Dominic's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Whitfield Warriors by a score of 3-1. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

St. Dominic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

St. Dominic found their leader in sophomore Justin Eaton, who had 13 digs.

St. Dominic's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Whitfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12-5.

St. Dominic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whitfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Webster Groves on the 9th.
