Laurens has gone a perfect 4-0 against Southside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. The last three games Laurens has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Laurens took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Fountain Inn, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders won by a set and slipped past the Fury 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Laurens got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Westside.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-10, 25-7.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Laurens, their win bumped their record up to 5-12-1.

Everything went Laurens' way against Southside in their previous meeting back in September, as Laurens made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
