Softball Game Preview: Wissahickon Trojans vs. Abington Galloping Ghosts

The Wissahickon Trojans will head out to square off against the Abington Galloping Ghosts at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Wissahickon is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Wissahickon came up short against Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday, falling 15-2.

Meanwhile, Abington lost 8-2 to Upper Dublin on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Galloping Ghosts in their meetings with the Flying Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Wissahickon's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Abington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wissahickon couldn't quite get it done against Abington when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 9-5. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
