Soccer Recap: Amherst Central Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Starpoint

There's no place like home for Amherst Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Starpoint Spartans a 1-0 shutout on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Amherst Central's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Starpoint are ranked 274th).
