Softball Recap: National Cathedral Takes a Loss

If National Cathedral was feeling good fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Georgetown Visitation Prep on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. National Cathedral took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. John's Cadets on Sunday. National Cathedral was not able to make up for their defeat to St. John's from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

National Cathedral saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Doster, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Annie Lee also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

National Cathedral's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for St. John's, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

As of now, neither National Cathedral nor St. John's have any future games scheduled.
