Charlotte Christian was the 3-1 winner over Cannon when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Cougars on Thursday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Charlotte Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-23.

Jane McAuley paced Charlotte Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. McAuley got some help from Clara Jensen and her eight assists. Celia Natwick controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Charlotte Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Cannon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13-1.

As of now, neither Charlotte Christian nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
