Recap: Highland Rams vs. Skyline Eagles

The Highland Rams had to endure a 17-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over Skyline on Friday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Highland has managed all season.

Despite the loss, Skyline saw an underclassman step up: Mia Johnson almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chloe Quinn, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Highland's victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-16. As for Skyline, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing West the next time they take the court. Skyline will host West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Highland will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
