Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lehigh Christian Academy last Monday, Notre Dame came back down to earth. The Notre Dame Spartans were dealt an 83-45 loss at the hands of the Riverside Vikings on Saturday. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-23.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Riverside, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Notre Dame has already played their next contest (against Bethlehem Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-32 victory against Western Wayne on the 20th.
