There's no place like home for Abundant Life Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 29-12 victory over the Grace Baptist Christian Academy Centurions on Friday.

Leading Abundant Life Academy to victory were Jaelle Vital and Jailee Rodriguez. Vital dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds, while Rodriguez posted five points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave Rodriguez a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariana Hyppolito, who earned 12 points along with six boards and four steals.

Abundant Life Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Abundant Life Academy pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points over those games. As for Grace Baptist Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
