Baseball Game Preview: Suffern Mounties vs. John Jay Wolves

The Suffern Mounties are taking a road trip to challenge the John Jay Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Suffern fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against John Jay on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 7-6. The Mounties have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, John Jay never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Sleepy Hollow. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for John Jay and bumps their season record up to 7-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Suffern, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
