Baseball Recap: Milton Hershey Comes Up Short

Milton Hershey lost to Camp Hill two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans came up short against the Lions, falling 12-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milton Hershey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Deven Carbonell, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Carbonell is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Milton Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Camp Hill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton Hershey will square off against York County Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Camp Hill, they will take on Middletown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.6, the Blue Raiders 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
