Softball Recap: J.P. McCaskey Takes a Loss

J.P. McCaskey lost against Hempfield back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Tornado lost 10-1 to the Black Knights. The Red Tornado have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

J.P. McCaskey saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaydence Canty, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Canty's first of the season.

J.P. McCaskey's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hempfield, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. J.P. McCaskey is set to challenge their familiar foe Warwick at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hempfield will take on rival Manheim Township at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
