Softball Recap: Seabreeze Sandcrabs vs. St. Augustine Yellow Jackets
Seabreeze lost against St. Augustine on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Seabreeze Sandcrabs wound up on the wrong side of a tough 10-4 walloping at the hands of the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets. Seabreeze has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kyra McLin was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Hannah Little was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
On St. Augustine's side, Kaylee Cline made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Cline was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
