Football Recap: Murphy's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Murphy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 17-10 win over the Robbinsville Black Knights. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was another big night for Cameron Clem, who rushed for 109 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Murphy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Robbinsville, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Murphy will square off against Andrews at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Robbinsville, they will challenge Rosman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
