Fertile-Beltrami waltzed into their game on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-39 W against the Thompson Tommies. The 44-point effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Thompson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Karter Peterson, who posted ten points, and Thomas Schumacher, who had eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Krogstad, who put up 11 points and five boards.
