Gainesville Gets a Boost from Kilmer in 35-20 Defeat

Starting off the list is Gainesville's Colton Kilmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kilmer threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Patriot, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Kilmer. Kilmer threw for 332 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Pioneers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Grayson Eisenhower Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Thursday, Gainesville had to settle for second even though Grayson Eisenhower put up the best numbers he has all season. Eisenhower picked up 164 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

This season, Eisenhower has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 68.8 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 15 receiving yards per game.

Kuhn Came Up Big in Osbourn Park's 56-8 Defeat

While Osbourn Park might've come up empty on Thursday, Ben Kuhn wasn't going down without a fight. Freedom had no answer to Kuhn as he picked up 47 receiving yards, and also rushed for 41 yards.

Osbourn Park is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Kuhn and Osbourn Park will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Battlefield at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
