Westlake waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Bay Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-3 back in March.

Blake Jensen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mitchell Hall, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Ethan Thompson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Bay, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westlake will welcome North Royalton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bay, they will host Firelands at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
