Basketball Recap: Anoka Gets the Win

Anoka's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 66-59 victory over the Andover Huskies. This was payback for the Tornadoes, who suffered a 90-77 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Anoka back to even at 6-6. As for Andover, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

The future could be bright for both Anoka and Andover: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Anoka will try to hand Coon Rapids their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Similarly, Andover will look to extend Robbinsdale Armstrong's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
