Basketball Recap: Hominy Comes Up Short

Hominy has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 29.69 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 65-37 loss at the hands of the Frontier Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Bucks in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Hominy's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Frontier, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

While Hominy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
