It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Parke Heritage had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Southmont Mounties get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won eight games in a row.

The result came thanks to Braydon Goodwin's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Parke Heritage saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Klayton Burgess, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Another was BT Luce, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Parke Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Southmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-18.

As of now, neither Parke Heritage nor the Mounties have any future games scheduled.
