Basketball Recap: Western Alamance Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Western Alamance extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Emma Johnson. The Western Alamance Warriors blew past the Williams Bulldogs, posting a 77-22 victory thanks in part to Johnson, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 27 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 22 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden White, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Despite the defeat, Williams saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Heaven Carter had seven points. That's the most points Carter has posted since back in December of 2024.

Western Alamance's record now sits at 21-4. As for Williams, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.

As of now, neither Western Alamance nor Williams have any future games scheduled.
