Madison-Grant's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Kelich, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Kelich hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Mavrick Griffin, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Madison-Grant were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. This was only their 13th loss (out of 19 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

Draven Collins was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points for Eastbrook. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Collins has scored all season. Jayden Younce was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.

Madison-Grant has not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Eastbrook, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-16.
