Escondido had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fallbrook Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 back in March.

Ryder Taylor made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Taylor wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Hermsen, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double was Hermsen's first of the season.

Escondido's record now sits at 20-7. As for Fallbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 15-13.

As of now, neither Escondido nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
