Basketball Recap: Perry Panthers vs. Shaker Heights Red Raiders
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Perry had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-43 victory over the Shaker Heights Red Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Perry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Drake Jacobsen out in front who shot 55% from the field on his way to 18 points. That's the most points Jacobsen has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Luke Wolf, who put up eight points in addition to 12 boards and five assists.
The victory got Perry back to even at 13-13. As for Shaker Heights, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-16.
Looking ahead, Perry will be playing at home against North Royalton at 3:00 p.m. on March 16th. North Royalton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Perry likes a good challenge. Shaker Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
