Fife dropped down to 3-4 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a hard 50-35 fall against the Franklin Pierce Cardinals. The Trojans lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 58-16 score last time.

As for Franklin Pierce, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points over those games.

It was another big night for Ja'Mire Ford, who rushed for 241 yards and three scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Forrest Dolan was another major influence, as he rushed for 38 yards and ran in a TD.

Fife and Franklin Pierce should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Trojans will face off against Foss at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (117 vs. 244). Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce (ranked 44th) will meet Clover Park (ranked 228th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
