Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience hadn't done well against Metro recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Owls blew past the Panthers 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Owls sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

While Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Metro scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.

Aubrey Schaus paced Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's offense, picking up ten kills. Schaus got some help from Justine Thornton and her 21 assists. Sophie Wallace controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's win bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for Metro, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience and Metro will both be playing Roosevelt the next time they take the court. The Owls will head out to face the Roughriders at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
