Basketball Recap: O'bryant's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boston Latin Academy, O'Bryant was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Madison Park RVT Cardinals by a score of 66-53. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Cardinals are ranked 213th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

O'Bryant has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Madison Park RVT, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. O'Bryant will head out to take on East Boston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison Park RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against Boston Latin Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
