Basketball Recap: McClain Comes Up Short

McClain lost against Washington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The McClain Tigers took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington Blue Lions. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Noah Haithcock was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points along with three steals and three blocks for Washington. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeston Everhart, who posted 14 points.

McClain's record now sits at 6-6. As for Washington, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

McClain will be playing at home against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington, they will square off against Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
