Hilliard Darby came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Olentangy Berlin, but Mitchell Moran wouldn't allow it. Olentangy Berlin sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Hilliard Darby on Thursday with plenty of help from Moran, who had 20 digs and two aces. Those 20 digs gave him a new career-high.

Olentangy Berlin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-17, 15-9.

The win made it two in a row for Olentangy Berlin and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Hilliard Darby, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Olentangy Berlin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Mt. Vernon on the 29th. Hilliard Darby has also already played their next match (against Hilliard Davidson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
