The Las Lomas Knights will venture away from home to take on the Vintage Crushers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Las Lomas will be strutting in after a victory while Vintage will be coming in after a loss.
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Las Lomas and Concord had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights walked away with a 5-1 win over the Bears on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Knights have beaten the Bears on their field since March 16, 2023.

Alessandro Martinez-Cabrera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Las Lomas' success: when he allows at most three hits the team is undefeated (and 4-7-1 when he doesn't).
At the plate, Las Lomas let Harrison May and Jack Pardella run wild. May went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Pardella went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases May has posted since back in March. Jackson Richie also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, Vintage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Windsor.
Soren DeYoung was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.
On the hitting side, Dario Freschi made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Blake Porter was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Las Lomas pushed their record up to 7-7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Vintage, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
