Basketball Game Preview: Keller Indians vs. Trinity Trojans

The Keller Indians will venture away from home to take on the Trinity Trojans at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Keller came up short against Byron Nelson and fell 56-47. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Bobcat are ranked 65th).

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Timber Creek, falling 58-32.

Keller has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-18.

Keller was able to grind out a solid win over Trinity in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 39-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Keller since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
