Volleyball Recap: Arp Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Arp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Tatum Eagles, falling 3-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-14.

Anna Schminkey paced Arp's offense, picking up five kills. Schminkey got some help from Landry Langley and her nine assists.

Arp's defeat dropped their record down to 20-19. As for Tatum, the victory was the 25th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Arp is set to take on their familiar foe West Rusk at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tatum will challenge rival Gladewater at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
