Deshler is 8-2 against Rogers since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. Deshler is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Deshler challenged Brooks on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Lions. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Lions on their field since February 25, 2016.

Meanwhile, Rogers didn't have quite enough to beat Lauderdale County on Thursday and fell 4-3. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Griffen Herston was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Deshler's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Everything went Deshler's way against Rogers in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Deshler made off with a 16-4 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
