Soccer Game Preview: Idea vs. BASIS

The Idea Timberwolves will head out on the road to challenge the BASIS Red Giants at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Idea's offense. They came up short against Capital City Public Charter School on Thursday, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, BASIS faced Sidwell Friends in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Red Giants lost 4-1 to the Quakers. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but BASIS couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for BASIS and nudges their season record down to 6-4-1. As for Idea, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
