Recap: Odessa Tigers vs. Cusick Panthers
Make it seven blowout wins for the Odessa Tigers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Cusick 54-25 on the road. With Odessa ahead 26-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Hayden Schuh continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Melloney Deife was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Odessa has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Cusick, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
Odessa won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Cusick does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
