Basketball Recap: Chamblee Starts Season with Victory Against Tucker

Chamblee had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They snuck past the Tucker Tigers with a 77-72 victory. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 83-41 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Chamblee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eston McDow out in front who posted 18 points along with six assists and three steals. Those six assists gave McDow a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan McCord, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 17 points and five steals.

Chamblee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-46 defeat against Mount Vernon on the 8th. As for Tucker, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-48 win against McDonough on the 8th.
